When training it deliberately, it is so, so very frustrating having to rely on 1. It's the only track I've ever given up on training before, and when I did, I went on to max my Sellbot disguise from level 1 while only gaining around 400-600 Toon-Up experience during that time because there's so few opportunities to use it in regular play. Toon-Up is the most difficult to train for me. Which gag did you guys find the hardest or easiest to train? Did I mention that you cannot carry as many Trap as you can other gags? Luckily training Trap alone bags 2 birds with 1 stone you will be training Lure at the same time. If you are with other toons, lure + trap is a similar ordeal as Throw/squirt/sound + Drop. Not to mention, you get hit every time lure misses. Training Trap without a fellow toon requires you to get attacked each time you throw down a Trap gag. Drop gags also sport a longer animation than the previous gag tracks. Even with another toon providing a stun, a level 2 Drop has 75 percent accuracy against a level 2 cog. When training alone, Drop has atrocious accuracy. Drop - We are reaching the bottom of the rung.Lure's accuracy mellows out as you level it, to being slightly less accurate than Throw at level 6. Its accuracy at levels 1-2 is equal to Drop and while you have Toonup and Trap to stun for Lure, Drop has subsequent gag tracks to provide stun. Lure - Lure is a gag that naturally maxes out when it is high enough level but at low level, training it can be excruciating.Lastly, Toonup has similar accuracy to Throw, which is middle of the road at best. You have to go out of your way to train it fast and most of the time you will be doing tasks alone. So unlike the previous 3 gags, TU does not take care of itself. When in the company of other toons, another toon must have sustained damage, whereas you can always use an attack gag on the opposing cogs. You need another toon present to take hits. Another inconvenience is that TU is the only gag that you cannot train alone. you cannot gain exp for using level 5 TU unless there's a level 5+ cog) so let's get that misconception out of the way now. One argument I've heard players make in favor of TU is that it is unaffected by cog level. Now onto the downsides associated with developing TU. The ability to spam the gag is a boon indeed, and allows for fast exp gain if you camp buildings. Toonup - How could TU be so far down the list? Well let's assess the pros and cons of training this gag track. ![]() For example, level 2 throw has 80% accuracy against a level 2 cog while level 2 squirt has 95 percent. You have to throw pies without lure, and will miss more often than Squirt. However, you will find that you don't have this luxury early game. Throw - Like squirt, best used on Lured cogs. ![]() It is not used as often as Sound or the following gag, but it still takes care of itself as you progress throughout the game. ![]()
